An electronics storefront needs to explain differences that product photography alone cannot show. A customer choosing headphones may compare connection types, compatibility and warranty terms; someone buying a camera may need lens and accessory information. A convincing homepage is useful, but the theme must also accommodate specification-heavy product pages and clear catalog navigation.
This comparison evaluates Porto, Claue and Infinit as three distinct Magento theme products for electronics retail. Individual demos within each theme are layout options, not additional products. Official listings, documentation and licensing information were checked on October 23, 2026. No hands-on speed tests, conversion results or universal extension compatibility are claimed.
Choose the product-information model first
List the attributes shoppers need for each product family before selecting a demo. A speaker and a camera should not share an undifferentiated wall of specification fields. Decide which attributes belong in filters, which form a concise summary and which need documentation or comparison views. A theme can display the information, but it cannot supply missing catalog data.
Also decide who controls the pages. A packaged builder may help merchandising staff rearrange campaigns, while an existing development team may prefer fewer custom modules. The right choice depends on editing responsibilities, catalog integrations and the storefront architecture already in use.
| Theme | Electronics-store evaluation focus | Observed purchase/version checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| Porto | Packaged layouts, navigation and product-tab presentation | $129 Regular License; 5.2.0 notes Magento 2.4.9 |
| Claue | Image-led products with MGS builder and bundled merchandising | $99 Regular License; 2.3.7 notes Magento 2.4.9/PHP 8.4 |
| Infinit | Codazon page composition and custom product attributes/tabs | $99 Regular License; exact current patch/PHP matrix needs confirmation |
Porto
Porto is a multipurpose Magento theme with packaged layouts and extensive storefront presentation settings. Version 5.2.0, dated August 24, 2026, adds layouts and tab styling, updates its quickstart to Magento 2.4.9 and records compatibility fixes. The same notes identify Bootstrap 5.3, even though older listing metadata can describe an earlier Bootstrap generation.
For electronics, evaluate the path from a category filter to a product’s key technical facts. Keep the product summary concise enough to distinguish models, then use tabs for detailed specifications and documentation. A broad set of presentation options is useful only if the team can maintain one consistent information hierarchy across headphones, networking equipment and other families.
The vendor documentation provides an installation and configuration reference, but older version references should not override newer release notes. Request an exact package-level statement for Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce, your patch release and PHP runtime. The 2.4.9 quickstart note is not proof of every Commerce module or extension combination.
Strength: a broad packaged presentation system for a conventional Magento project. Limitation: the module inventory and customizations require review. Treat it as a traditional Magento storefront implementation unless the vendor supplies a specific alternative. Native Hyvä, Hyvä Checkout and PWA conversion were not verified; installing a theme does not convert existing Luma-oriented extensions into those architectures.
The observed Regular License is $129. Budget implementation, selected extensions and later support separately. A demo’s arrangement can be a starting point, but its imagery and sample products are not a validated electronics catalog. Build a child-theme plan and confirm which bundled modules remain required after unused features are disabled.
Claue
Claue combines a clean visual style with the MGS Front-End Builder and bundled storefront modules. The listing includes navigation, quick view, search, product tabs and brand-related tools. Version 2.3.7, dated July 28, 2026, records Magento 2.4.9 and PHP 8.4 work, including product-gallery and layered-navigation fixes.
That presentation approach can suit electronics catalogs where form and materials matter as well as specifications. Give buyers enough context to understand differences before asking them to open a quick view. The design assessment here is an editorial inference from the documented feature set, not evidence that Claue produces better product decisions or faster pages.
The builder activation documentation matters for the editing workflow. Have a merchandiser demonstrate a campaign change on staging, then confirm that the result is reproducible in the team’s deployment process. Builder access and content portability should be planned before a seasonal landing page becomes business-critical.
Claue’s current listing explicitly names Magento 2.4.9 and a broad PHP list through 8.4. That list does not mean every PHP version can be paired with every Magento release. Adobe Commerce edition-specific coverage and PHP 8.5 were not confirmed. The included module suite and MGS builder are part of the compatibility discussion, not incidental decorations.
Strength: an integrated editing and merchandising package. Limitation: bundled tools may overlap existing search, navigation or checkout extensions. Choose one owner for each function. Native Hyvä/Luma interoperability and PWA support need a vendor-approved plan; no native Hyvä or headless implementation was verified. The observed Regular License is $99, before tax and optional services.
Infinit
Infinit is Codazon’s multipurpose theme product. Its documentation separates header, footer and main-content composition, with page-builder, navigation, custom attributes and product-tab features. The electronics layouts belong to this one product; they are not separate themes to count again in a comparison.
The Magento 2 documentation makes product-information presentation an especially relevant evaluation area. Ask the vendor to show family-specific attributes and documentation tabs using realistic product names and missing values. An attractive list of attribute labels is not enough if the catalog feed supplies inconsistent units or leaves half the values empty.
For a retailer with frequent campaigns, assess how header, footer and main content are reused across store views. Reuse can reduce repetitive work, but shared content needs clear ownership. One campaign editor should not unintentionally replace another region’s delivery information while updating a global block.
The listing was updated August 3, 2026 and labels Magento 2.4.x and Magento Enterprise compatibility. Its embedded detailed version list is older, and the documentation index did not yield a definitive current patch/PHP matrix in this review. Obtain the exact Infinit build, supported Open Source/Adobe Commerce release, PHP version and required Codazon modules before purchase. In particular, do not translate a 2.4.x badge into confirmed 2.4.9 support.
Strength: flexible page composition and documented product-information tools. Limitation: exact current platform support needs written confirmation. Native Hyvä, Hyvä Checkout and PWA support were not verified; the documented builder/module approach should not be treated as a headless storefront. The observed Regular License is $99, with implementation and selected support options budgeted separately.
Licensing, support and the real project budget
All three observed prices use Envato’s Regular License, which covers one end product. It is not an unlimited-store entitlement. Clarify whether your websites, regional brands and separately deployed stores constitute one or several end products. A store selling physical goods does not by itself require an Extended License simply because customers pay for those goods.
Under the item support policy, supported items normally include six months of support, with paid extensions available. Update availability and support duration are distinct; neither promises lifetime custom development. The exact support-extension or renewal price depends on the selected item and purchase timing, so obtain it at checkout rather than assuming another theme’s amount.
Include catalog preparation, child-theme development, required builder/module updates, accessibility work and integration acceptance in the budget. Existing Adobe Commerce features, search engines, checkout tools and product-document extensions should be inventoried before importing sample content. A quickstart belongs in a clean development environment, not over an established production database.
Which theme fits your electronics store?
Shortlist Porto when you want a broad traditional Magento presentation package and can verify its exact module stack. Choose Claue when the MGS editing workflow and bundled merchandising suit the team. Consider Infinit when flexible content composition and technical-attribute presentation are priorities, after resolving its current compatibility matrix.
Ask each implementation team to demonstrate a long specification table, a configurable product, unavailable accessories and a keyboard-only mobile purchase path. Measure your own resulting build instead of adopting vendor performance claims. Our layered navigation comparison and storefront architecture comparison help frame those adjacent decisions. The best theme is the one that supports a clear buying explanation and a maintainable delivery process.
