Amasty SEO Toolkit vs Mageplaza SEO vs Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite

Compare Amasty SEO Toolkit, Mageplaza SEO and Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite on package boundaries, licensing, renewals and storefront integration.

Three architectural gateways connected to catalog cards and an oversized magnifying glass in warm orange and ivory.

Magento SEO becomes difficult when several systems disagree about the same page. A theme might publish one set of structured data, a navigation extension might change filter URLs, and a second module might generate another canonical tag. Buying a larger SEO suite only helps when you decide which component owns each output.

This comparison covers Amasty SEO Toolkit, Mageplaza SEO and Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite for merchants who need a maintainable approach to catalog metadata, crawl signals and site structure. Official sources were checked on October 19, 2026. This is a documentation-based comparison, not a hands-on test, ranking experiment or claim that any extension guarantees search visibility. Prices and package boundaries can change.

Define the SEO work before choosing a suite

Begin with a sample of your actual URLs: the homepage, a category, a filtered category, a simple product, a configurable product, a discontinued item and a translated store view. For each, record the intended title, canonical destination, indexing status and sitemap inclusion. That small specification makes vendor demonstrations much more useful than an undifferentiated feature checklist.

Distinguish automation from strategy. A metadata template can repeat a naming pattern, but someone still has to choose the pattern and review exceptions. Similarly, publishing structured data does not establish eligibility for every rich result. Your product information, rendered page and markup need to agree. Plan editorial ownership as well as technical installation.

Comparison at a glance

Extension Documented scope Displayed pricing snapshot Main decision point
Amasty SEO Toolkit Free entry tier with broader automation in Pro and Premium Entry $0; Pro $399; Premium $469 Does the free scope suffice, or are paid templates and sitemap tools required?
Mageplaza SEO Standard, Professional and Ultimate feature tiers $99, $229 and $349 respectively for the first year Which tier contains your multilingual and audit requirements?
Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite Combined templates, redirects, sitemap, cross-linking and audit tooling Displayed first year $179; support and updates $108/year afterward Can one suite take ownership of the outputs your store needs?

These figures are public-page snapshots in US dollars. They do not include a verified quote for every Magento edition, tax, implementation, additional service or renewal scenario. Do not compare a free tier against another vendor’s full bundle as if their functions were identical.

Amasty SEO Toolkit

Amasty’s current package table offers a $0 entry with a toolbar, redirects, default robots settings and pagination controls. Pro adds features including metadata templates, rich snippets, cross-linking and HTML/XML sitemaps. Premium expands the automation and included modules. The free package is therefore a bounded starting point, not the entire paid suite at no cost.

Strength: this structure lets a team decide whether it needs a limited intervention or a broader replacement. If the existing site already has a well-managed sitemap and metadata process, a smaller scope may be easier to govern. If those processes are fragmented, compare the paid package instead.

Limitations: the page’s changelog identifies separate Hyvä and GraphQL compatibility packages with subscription conditions. Confirm their current package names and coverage. A backend SEO capability and its appearance in a particular frontend are separate requirements.

Best fit: merchants comfortable documenting package-level responsibilities. Avoid enabling every included automation at once. Introduce a controlled rule set, inspect its output and preserve a way to identify which setting generated a particular title or URL.

Mageplaza SEO

Mageplaza SEO separates its range into three paid tiers. Standard lists canonical tags and structured data. Professional adds items including metadata template rules, robots controls and sitemap components. Ultimate adds tools such as a checklist, reports, page analysis and hreflang. The page also lists included image-related modules in its higher bundle.

Strength: the edition matrix makes it possible to identify a purchasing threshold. A merchant needing a small set of output controls can evaluate a different tier from a multilingual team that also wants reporting. Write down that threshold before comparing prices.

Limitations: a feature being bundled does not make it necessary. For example, inspect existing image processing and cross-linking before introducing another owner for those functions. Clarify the storefront and API requirements with the vendor, particularly if the site uses custom rendering rather than the documented presentation.

Best fit: a team that wants explicit edition boundaries and can review what each addition replaces. Budget for configuring exceptions: even a sensible catalog-wide rule can produce awkward titles when a product lacks a brand, has an unusually long name or belongs to several categories.

Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite

Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite, now presented as its Magento 2 SEO Extension, combines metadata templates, rich snippets, redirects, sitemaps, cross-links and audit tools. The page lists Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce coverage through 2.4.9 and describes built-in Hyvä and GraphQL support. Its displayed price includes a year of updates and support, followed by the stated annual prolongation charge.

Strength: this is a candidate when a team wants to evaluate SEO operations together rather than assemble several independent tools. A single suite can provide a clearer place to look for configuration, provided its responsibilities are documented.

Limitations: a comprehensive installation can still produce conflicting output if an old module remains active. The vendor itself advises against overlapping SEO suites. Inventory existing canonicals, metadata and redirects before migrating, then decide which previous features to disable.

Best fit: merchants prepared to consolidate ownership and review their current rules. The sensible question is whether the suite supports the required exceptions and workflow, not whether its audit view can replace all specialist judgment. We have not validated its crawler behavior on a large production catalog.

Licensing, renewals and compatibility questions

Amasty’s license covers one Magento installation, including multiple domains on that instance. Ask for the selected package’s renewal quote. Mirasvit’s agreement likewise licenses one installation per copy. Clarify how your production, staging and separate regional installations are counted before purchasing.

Mageplaza’s terms allow one live installation and unlimited test installations. Its standard renewal is 50% of the then-current price, or 60% after at least three months of expiry, with special cases. This matters when calculating maintenance costs rather than comparing only launch prices.

For all three, specify Magento edition, exact patch and PHP release in the request for confirmation. Ask separately about Luma, Hyvä and a headless PWA. A GraphQL feature requires frontend implementation; it does not prove that an independently built storefront emits the desired metadata. Follow the chosen release’s dependency requirements rather than combining broad product-page ranges into a new compatibility claim.

Review the interactions with navigation and themes

A layered navigation extension may generate landing pages and custom filter URLs. Choose which system controls canonical destinations and robots directives for those pages. Keep that decision in a configuration record so later merchandising changes do not silently alter the SEO plan.

Your Magento theme is another part of the output path. Inspect final HTML with the intended theme enabled. Check for duplicate structured-data blocks, conflicting product identifiers and metadata that changes unexpectedly between store views. These are recommended review tasks; this article does not claim they have been executed against the products.

A rollout that makes results explainable

Export or document the existing rule configuration before replacing it. Start with a small set of representative pages and compare rendered output before and after each change. Review redirects for loops and unintended chains, and check that sitemap URLs correspond to the indexing decisions you approved. Record intentional exceptions as carefully as the defaults.

Give the merchandising team an escalation path. If a generated title is unsuitable, they should know whether to edit a product field, override the page or change a template. Otherwise every exception risks becoming an unexplained global rule. Schedule output reviews after Magento, theme and SEO-extension upgrades.

Which SEO extension makes sense?

Consider Amasty when you want to choose between a bounded free scope and paid automation. Consider Mageplaza when its tier matrix closely matches your required functions. Consider Mirasvit when consolidating several SEO responsibilities is the priority. Choose the suite whose configuration and exceptions your team can maintain, then verify actual output before expecting any improvement in visibility.
